Thermal Inspection
Thermal inspections can uncover some issues that can't be seen even by the most intensive visual inspection. Enter Thermal Imaging technology. Thermal Inspections can spot HVAC leaks, unseen plumbing leaks and even some problematic electrical hotspots - through the walls.
We can offer Thermal imaging inspection as an addition to any Home Inspection or as a stand alone service.
Thermal Inspection in addition to a Home Inspection will look at the major systems - Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC. Any anomalies or deficiencies detected will be photographed and available in your inspection report.
Stand alone Thermal Imaging Inspections are typically looking for specific problems in specific systems. Let us know what systems you're wanting inspected and we will take care of it for you. photos and videos will be available in your inspection report.
Pricing
The minimum base charge for an inspection in my service area is $400 for up to 2000 square feet of living space. Service areas are listed below. Prices are based on square footage of living space, at $0.20 per square foot or $400, whichever is larger.
Properties outside the greater DFW area, and that are not listed in service areas below will be bid on individual basis. Cities/Towns outside listed service areas will begin with a $100 trip charge.
Inspections of Outbuildings and Detached structures will be an additional charge.
A garage type building without plumbing will start at an additional $120
Detached structures with plumbing and/or HVAC will start at an additional $240
If outbuildings square footage surpasses standard charges, their price will be determined by using the $0.20 per square foot rate.
Duplexes, Quadplexes, Apartment Buildings and Commercial properties will all be bid on individual basis. Please call with specifications for clarification.
Specialty, warranty, Insurance, pre-foundation pour, pre-sheetrock and construction phase inspections will each be bid on individual basis. Please call with specifications for clarification.
